Globalwin CAF12 - Page 1/2
Rating : N/A Review Date : May 31, 2000

Now with faster machines and hotter graphic cards it's almost impossible to run the pc without some sort of cooling to get all the heat out. Many out there have already fasten better fans to their video card or even stick some heatsinks on the video card rams. The bad thing about it is that you might loose the warranty of your card since you've already tampered with it. Even worse if you have several video card i.e. TNT2 and Voodoo 2 SLI then you'll have to spend quite a lot of money just to cool down those card.

This is where the Globalwin CAF12 comes in. This 120mm card cooler is big enough to cool down all those ISA/PCI/AGP card that you have at at the same time move around enough air to keep the whole case much cooler. It fits just above the cards so you'll never waste any slots at all like some other slot coolers.

I had some problems installing the Globalwin CAF12. I have 2 Voodoo 2 card running in my system and the card cooler wasn't long enough to clear the SLI cable. So I had to put it higher so it only was able to cool my Matrox G400 but it got to cool my cpu as well so I guess that wasn't too bad.

The CAF12

The Globalwin CAF12, sorry for the bad picture. As you can see the Voodoo 2 SLI cable blocks the 120mm fan so I only could install it higher.
